Financial education
The programme covers the two-pot retirement system and Section 37C death benefits, helping participants make informed financial decisions and share knowledge in their communities.
Basic shop-steward training
Participants learn about the trade union movement, the role of the shop steward, union constitutions and structures, occupational health and safety, skills development, workplace cases and discrimination.
Important conditions
- Attendance is monitored and successful applicants receive written confirmation.
- Applicants require formal authorisation from their unions.
- Certificates are issued only to participants who complete the full programme.
- Venue-specific transport and accommodation conditions are included with each event.
